A Blonde Walks Into a Convenience Store...

I busted Mama out of the nursing home today and we went to see my sister Beth and afterwards, visited my favorite new store, Sand and Soul Designs in Sopchoppy. Afterwards, I wanted to take her to get ice cream and was advised (by three people) to stop by Rocky's Wakulla in Medart because they have really good frozen yogurt! I'd never been there but have heard it's a pretty cool place, and since it's right by the nursing home, I thought I'd give it a try.

Pull up, get out, unload Mama, walk in and think to myself, "Hmmm, this place isn't at all what I thought it would be..." We're walking around looking for the frozen yogurt machine and it was simply nowhere to be found. So I go up to the counter and say to the cashier, "I was told you had excellent frozen yogurt here. Where is your self serve machine?" And he cocks his head to the left and says, "Um, this is Circle K".

Well then.

Mama and I then drove the short distance to Rocky's (like literally a few feet away), found that fro-yo machine, got ourselves some soft serve goodness and ate it right there in the parking lot of Eden Springs. She laughed and laughed at me while we were sitting there as I rehashed the mistake I'd made. And that made my blonde moment totally worth it.

Because she laughed.

And laughed...
