Market Days

I look forward to Market Days every year and it just keeps getting better!  The largest show I do, there are around 300 or so booths and a crowd so big that everyone has a chance to make good money.

This show benefits the Tallahassee Museum and there are many dedicated, hard working folks who make it all happen.  Held at the Fairgrounds inside buildings (unless you prefer to set up outdoors), this is one show where I never need to worry about weather.

I am in a building that allows me a longer, yet more shallow booth and this works well for me.  I am able to set up a modified tent frame of 10 x 8 to build around, then I have eight more feet on the other side to play with.  This is my favorite set-up.  I use every table and pedestal I have.  I also bring all my lighted trees and branches from home to pretty up my booth.  It takes me all day to build it, but it's totally worth it.

Saturday is always the busiest day but Sundays can be brisk too.

If I didn't have a booth at Market Days and just wanted to go there to shop, I would most definitely go on Sunday as I feel it's far easier to navigate your way through all the buildings without having to fight the crowds.

There are so many treasures to be found at this show.  Fine art, fine craft, hand crafted candies and spice mixes and other gourmet foods.  Lots of stocking stuffers and keepsakes.  Something for everyone.
