Middle of Nowhere Without My Bust

This weekend finds me deep in the Apalachicola National Forest taking care of my mother who has Alzheimer's.  This is where I grew up, or tried to anyway.  When I say deep in the woods, I mean DEEP as in no cell phone service, no stores, no close neighbors.  Last year, we finally got internet here via satellite.  When I'm here, I am one hour away from my husband, my kids, my fur children and my beloved torch.  I'm not sure who or what I miss the most, but usually, fur and fire take the lead, LOL.

I brought a ton of beads with me to string, as well as my camera and this slow, old laptop but I forgot to bring the bust and displays I use to photograph my finished pieces on.  I'll have to get creative in that area as well.  Don't know if this will do, but I found two lampshades, one medium sized and the other very small, stacked them, then threw a silk blouse I found in my Mama's closet over them and took the picture.  Little set backs like this cost me a lot of time and cause much frustration for me but I refuse to let this entire weekend be a bust...
