Little While Longer

With a heart and head full of hope, I went for my ortho appointment today.  

I was feeling mightly lucky too.

And I thought he was going to say,  "Take that sling OFF and throw it away, Robin!  Your arm is healed and you won't hurt much longer and you'll be back to normal in a few short days", but NO!   He said he could tell I'm taking good care of it and that new bone is forming and that in six months to a year,  I'll have a totally healed arm.  HUH?  Six months to a year?   I say again,  HUH?  No,  no,  no, no,  no!   

He'll see me in another month, and THEN he will say, "Take that sling OFF and throw it away, Robin!  Your arm is healed and you won't hurt much longer and you'll be back to normal in a few short days".
