Yes, Jesus Loves Me
I've been here since yesterday for a four day stretch of time in the big woods. Mama's caregiver drove South for Christmas and my siblings and I are covering.
My son and his love showed up to offer support and what he doesn't even realize is so much more than I can explain.
Sign Here, Here and Here
My dear friend Lourdes is the most thoughtful and generous person I know. My closet is full of clothes she's given me as Christmas and Birthday gifts. She knows my taste and she never misses.
This year, in addition to two gorgeous tops, she had a sign made for me to hang in my studio. I absolutely LOVE it! It's perfect, just like her.
Cowboy Vs. Mermaid
I am obsessed with cowboy boots. I don't know why exactly. I want to be a mermaid, not a cowboy.
Heroes and Scars
I learned about Heroes early in my life. The very first ones are burned into my memory and my left hand.
I was around the age of three and we were gathered around a pile of burning leaves and limbs at my Big Mama and Big Daddy's house.
Who Has a Fork?
Go ahead and stick one in me. I am DONE for the year. The last push is always the hardest, which is what I imagine child birth would be like without the epidural.
Home (Show), Sweet Home (Show)
Every year after Market Days, which is a two day show where 401,724,953 people show up to do some serious shopping, I host an Open Studio Show and Sale. Last night was my 14th one.
